Initial Consultation

Service Description

Every programme at Map & Compass Neurodevelopmental Therapy starts with an Initial Consultation. The Initial Consultation is a one-hour appointment, with you (if an adult) or one or both parents/care-givers if a child, to discuss you or your child's current challenges/presenting problems, developmental/medical/educational history, and the suitability of the programmes offered. We will also discuss in-depth screening questionnaires for Neuro-Motor Immaturity, Auditory Processing, and possible pathways of support/help for you or your child. If the decision is to go ahead, we will discuss the home programmes and what to expect as you go forward.
