Johansen IAS Assessment (Ages 3-6 years)

Service Description

The Johansen IAS Assessment for ages 3-6 years (or for anyone for whom an audiogram is not possible or appropriate) will include the use of checklists to gather background information. Together with formal and informal tests to explore the child's profile of strengths and difficulties, this will create a picture of the child's difficulties. Once this has been gained, Johansen IAS will be discussed and explained. Parents/Caregivers will leave understanding how to go forward for the specialised home listening programme.
